- CIA’s president will join the combined team as the firms build a coordinated go-to-market plan for 2026
GHK Capital Partners has acquired Civil Infrastructure Associates, a municipal engineering firm based in Tennessee, for undisclosed terms.
WSB is one of the nation’s fastest-growing design and consulting firms, according to the company.
CIA specializes in water and wastewater utilities, civil and site design, aviation infrastructure, surveying, GIS, and infrastructure funding assistance.
The acquisition strengthens WSB’s municipal engineering platform, expanding its ability to support public-sector clients facing infrastructure, regulatory, and growth-related challenges, and grows the firm’s presence in the Southeast. WSB operates more than 50 offices with approximately 1,800 employees nationwide, serving government, commercial, and infrastructure clients. The deal is WSB’s eighth acquisition in three years.
CIA was founded in 2009 by Linda Sullivan, who serves as the firm’s president. The two companies plan to integrate their services and develop a coordinated go-to-market approach in 2026.
