Upstate New York Firm With $400 Million In Assets Joins Raymond James

Raymond James has beefed up its presence in what it considers one of the most attractive markets in the Northeast after recruiting a Glens Falls, N.Y.-based financial advisor managing more than $400 million in assets to its employee advisor channel.

Adam E. Pearsall registered with Raymond James & Associates (RJA) in June after more than 26 years at UBS Financial Services, according to a Raymond James news release and BrokerCheck.

Operating as Pearsall Wealth Management of Raymond James, the advisor, supported by practice business manager Melissa Battiste and client service associate Tara Johnson, provides wealth management, financial planning and investment guidance to individuals, families, business owners and other investors.

Pearsall, senior vice president of wealth management, touted the client-first culture and broad wealth management resources offered by the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based financial services giant. Raymond James’ “significant investment in technology and planning capabilities strengthens our ability to address the full picture of each client’s financial life while maintaining the attentive service they value,” the advisor said in a statement.

Kelly Anderson, Northeast division director for RJA, said its new advisory practice should bolster the firm’s “growing presence in the Capital Region, which is one of the most vibrant and attractive growth markets in the Northeast.”

Anderson added, “Our continued investment in Saratoga Springs, Latham and now Glens Falls reflects our confidence in this community, the strength of the local economy and the growing number of advisors seeking the model found at Raymond James that combines true business ownership with the support and resources of one of the largest financial services firms in the country.”
