Charlesbank has appointed co-managing partners Brandon White and Sandor Hau to lead firm

  • White will continue to lead private equity along with David Katz, who has been promoted to co-head of private equity
  • Hau will continue as head of credit
  • The executive committee will expand to include managing directors David Katz, Pedro Vaz and Carolyn Wintner

Charlesbank Capital Partners has tapped co-managing partners Brandon White and Sandor Hau to lead the firm.

Michael Choe, who led the firm for the last 12 years as president and then CEO, will serve as managing partner emeritus.

White will continue to lead private equity along with David Katz, who has been promoted to co-head of private equity.

Hau will continue as head of credit.

The executive committee will expand to include managing directors David Katz, Pedro Vaz and Carolyn Wintner.

Founded in 1998, Charlesbank has offices in New York and Boston. The firm has approximately $21.5 billion of assets under management as of March 31, 2026.
