Osaic Lands Iowa Father-Son Led Team Managing $367M In Assets

Arizona broker-dealer Osaic said it recently hired a father-son team in Iowa that managed $367 million in client assets at Ameriprise Financial Services.

In its news release, Osaic, which oversees more than $700 billion in assets under administration and has more than 11,000 financial professionals on its network, said IronGate Services, led by Chad Sarsfield and his son Coy Sarsfield, joined the broker-dealer Carlson Advisor Networks, an Osaic office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ).

The team, which includes Brennan Dorighi and Jeff Netolicky, affiliated with Osaic last month, according to BrokerCheck.

Cedar Rapids-based IronGate, which primarily serves business owners, selected Osaic for the independence, flexibility and support available through its platform, including business coaching and consulting, technology, investment products and expanded operational resources, Osaic said in its release.

In addition, IronGate’s affiliation with Carlson Advisor Networks will provide the practice with additional guidance and back-office support.

“We were looking for the right combination of independence, flexibility and support to help us build the next chapter of our business,” Chad Sarsfield said in a statement. “Osaic gives us access to the technology, investment capabilities and resources we need to operate more efficiently while continuing to provide the first-class experience our clients expect.”

Chad has been in the financial services for 28 years, the last four with his former firm Ameriprise, while his son Coy worked with Ameriprise for the one year he’s been a registered advisor, according to BrokerCheck.

Dorighi has also been in the industry and with his former firm for one year.  Netolicky, on the other hand, isn’t transitioning from Ameriprise. The eight-year veteran last worked as a financial planner at a financial services firm called Parady Financial Group in The Villages, Fla., for almost two years until June, according to his LinkedIn profile and BrokerCheck.

He joined IronGate in August, registering with Osaic with the rest of the team.
