- The pharmacy platform was co-founded in 2023 by Flexpoint and Dom Meffe, then a senior advisor to the firm.
- Flexpoint helped build out ArtesRx’s executive team and establish an in-house M&A engine to drive add-on acquisitions.
Flexpoint Ford has completed the sale of ArtesRx, a behavioral health pharmacy platform, to Linden Capital Partners, for undisclosed terms.
Flexpoint, a private equity firm focused on financial services and adjacent verticals, first backed the business in 2023, when it was formed together with Dom Meffe, then a senior advisor to Flexpoint, to acquire, scale and support pharmacy businesses serving complex patient populations.
During Flexpoint’s ownership, the firm worked with management to build out ArtesRx’s executive leadership team, strengthen its sales infrastructure and establish an in-house M&A engine to pursue add-on acquisitions. The combined organic and acquisitive growth strategy took ArtesRx from three pharmacies serving one state to 16 pharmacies across 15 states.
ArtesRx serves individuals who depend on complex medication regimens, including patients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities, operating pharmacies under local banners with established community and provider relationships.
Michael Fazekas, managing director at Flexpoint, said the vision for “building a new type of pharmacy platform” and a care model prioritizing complex patients had been “key drivers of the company’s success.”
Houlihan Lokey served as financial advisor to ArtesRx on the transaction.
