Intera-backed Suvia Group expands to Belgium with AutoRepairGroup acquisition
- Deal marks Suvia Group’s first expansion outside Finland since Intera invested in March
- Combined group will span 80 workshops and around 1,100 employees across Finland and Belgium
- AutoRepairGroup is known for electric-vehicle, battery and ADAS repair expertise
Intera Partners’ portfolio company Suvia Group has acquired Belgian body repair group AutoRepairGroup, marking Suvia’s first expansion outside Finland. The deal brings together two leading independent operators with strong positions in their home markets.
AutoRepairGroup is Belgium’s largest independent body repair group, according to the company. Headquartered in Heverlee, it operates 14 workshops, employs more than 450 people and completes more than 45,000 repairs a year. The company holds a strong position with leasing and fleet customers and growing cooperation with insurance companies, and is recognized for its expertise in electric vehicle and battery repairs, aluminium repairs, and ADAS calibration. Revenue is heading toward more than €80 million in 2026, with an EBITDA margin of about 10 percent.
Suvia Group is Finland’s leading independent provider of vehicle damage services, comprising collision repair network InCar, damage inspection specialist Suomen Vahinkotarkastus SVT, and spare parts business AutoBodyParts. Headquartered in Helsinki, Suvia has 66 workshops, employs more than 600 people and completes more than 80,000 repairs annually. Intera Partners has backed the company since early 2026.
The combined group will comprise 80 workshops and about 1,100 employees across Finland and Belgium after the deal. AutoRepairGroup will continue to operate under its own name and remain led by its current management team, with customer relationships, services and day-to-day operations continuing unchanged. Suvia’s Finnish businesses and the InCar brand will also continue unchanged.
“When we invested in Suvia in March, one of our main goals was to internationalize the group,” said Iikka Moilanen of Intera Partners.
Intera Partners is a private equity firm focused on the growth and internationalization of Finnish and Swedish companies. It manages funds with total capital of €585 million, invested across 14 portfolio companies with more than 6,000 employees and combined revenues of over €750 million.
