Discover Diptyque’s New Les Rituels de Soin Collection
There’s something so comforting and ritualistic about lighting a candle and letting the fragrance fill your home with the soft flicker of a flame. It’s a small act of self-care and indulgence − and Diptyque’s brand new collection, Les Rituels de Soin, has been designed to elevate that sensorial experience from morning to night.
Inspired by the philosophy of ancient bathing and restoring the connection between body and soul, one candle, Le Matin, is for awakening and refreshing your home in the morning. The other, Le Soir, can be lit as you wind down in the evening to help soothe, comfort, and relax.
Part of the wider Les Rituels de Soin wellness collection, these new designs are set to become one of my best candles for burning throughout the day as temperatures start to drop and fall sets in.

Les Rituels de Soin, or the ritual of care, begins in the morning. The Le Matin Classic Candle, available at Diptyque, features lively vegetable notes to awaken the energy of you and your home, connecting it to the brightness of the new day.
It’s light and fresh, with scents of crushed mint leaves mingled with ginger, and, in my opinion, has a gorgeously herbaceous undertone of basil. It’s exactly the type of smell I’d like to burn first thing in the morning, either in my bathroom to make my bathroom smell like a luxury spa as I get ready for the day, or in the entryway. Like all Diptyque candles, which are my absolute favorites and always counted among my best home fragrances, it burns beautifully clean and is suitable for small and medium-sized rooms.
That clean burn also makes Diptyque candles the best for getting the candle wax out of them, allowing you to reuse these iconic candle jars around the house. These vessels always look effortlessly chic on a bathroom sink or shelf, and there are plenty of refills also available at Diptyque (though not in this particular scent).

Then comes evening − and time to light Le Soir. The soothing fragrance, with notes of chamomile, sage, and warming cedar, is comforting, calming, and a signifier to relax and unwind. I can also smell layers of lavender in this one, which is a great fragrance to have in your bedroom – my Le Soir candle is currently sitting pretty on my nightstand.
