FPE promotes Ben Cole to partner

FPE has announced the promotion of Ben Cole to partner.
Cole joined FPE in 2019 and has played a central role in building the firm’s origination capability, according to a press statement. He has personally originated FPE platform investments including NoBlue2 and Point74, as well as numerous bolt-on acquisitions across the portfolio.
Alongside origination, Cole leads FPE’s marketing and portfolio talent activities.
Cole’s promotion follows Chris Kay’s appointment to partner in 2024.
FPE is a specialist private equity investor focused on the software and data sectors. It invests in lower mid-market, UK and Ireland-headquartered software and data companies.
