A Haute Halloween: Shop 24 Ghoulishly Chic Finds

A shiver runs up the spine of any interiors obsessive: plastic pumpkins. Synthetic spiderwebs snagged in the boxwoods. Animatronic witches cackling on the porch. But Halloween decor really doesn’t need to try so hard. A deserted Victorian manor is unsettling enough on its own and, as we can hopefully all agree, makes for a far chicer reference point.

Blacked-out fringed table lamps and silver bat-motif wall mirrors could set the scene in the entryway. To the left, a fleet of etched coupes holding signature oxblood cocktails beside bowls of ‘finger food.’ To the right, West Elm’s latest Frankenstein-meets-Picasso sculptural experiment, where pairs of eyeballs watch from pedestal bowls, trinket trays listen with oversized ears, and a giant surrealist nose of a vase takes a whiff of a few aging florals.
