Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s London House Available To Rent

One of the most coveted historic residences, Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s former London house is ready to welcome a new tenant. The Queen’s Gate Mews is one of the most desired residential properties, featured in Daniel Craig’s action thriller movie, Layer Cake. This house, built by William Jackson in the early 1860s, sits within one of London’s historic mews, which survived a direct bomb strike during the Second World War.

The house has a whitewashed brick façade adorned with three arched bays on the ground floor and a Juliet balcony on the second floor. The central arched bay with a decorative fanlight enhances the elegance of the historic building through its centerpiece appeal. This arched bay beautifully frames the black entrance door that opens into a cozy interior filled with traditional warmth.

Inside, the house flaunts a captivating eclectic contemporary aesthetic with hardwood floors and wooden furniture. The main floor houses a kitchen, dining room, and living room in an open-floor layout. The dark timber floor fills the interior with organic warmth while rugs and carpets make the living space feel cozy and inviting.

The multi-paned arched bay floods the interior with ample sunlight while the wood blinds filter the light and offer privacy when needed. The living room includes an L-shaped sofa set and additional seating with a wooden coffee table in the center. The traditional and antique décor showpieces serve as visual focal points of the interior and impart historic character to the space.

The stainless steel kitchen, designed by Guy Ritchie, exudes a strong industrial charm. Almost every appliance and cabinet is built from durable stainless steel. The decorative tile backsplash softens the rigidity of the metal-dominated kitchen and adds a visual texture. The wooden dining table sits between the kitchen and living room. It gives easy access to food and snacks when guests are around. The ground floor also includes a guest bath and a library nook.

The upper floor includes two bedrooms. One of these bedrooms forms a primary suite with a small Juliet balcony overlooking the historic mews. You can find the house’s traditional archway built with historic brickwork in the main bathroom. The Carrara marble finishes and a freestanding soaking tub complete the bathroom.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s former London house offers a luxurious stay filled with Hollywood glamour. The Property is ideal for a small family, with various historic venues, such as Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and several Underground stations, within walking distance.
