Krispy Kreme Launches Brand-New Pokémon Doughnut Collection

Krispy Kreme has teamed up with The Pokémon Company International to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon with an all-new Pokémon Doughnut Collection. The collection features five iconic Pokémon transformed into delicious sweet treats that fans can catch and share.

This is the year of the Pokémon, and starting August 18, Trainers and sweet tooths can savor the Krispy Kreme Pokémon Doughnut Collection at participating locations nationwide. The doughnut giant invites you to catch five iconic Pokémon-inspired doughnuts with fun flavors, along with the Poké Ball doughnuts to accompany you on your adventures.

Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer at Krispy Kreme, said in the press release, “We had so much fun bringing the world of Pokémon to life through doughnuts in a way only Krispy Kreme can. From Pokémon-inspired creations and playful flavors to themed cups, special packaging and fan surprises, this collection is made to be caught and shared as we celebrate 30 incredible years of Pokémon.”

Here is what the Krispy Kreme Pokémon Doughnut Collection offers:

• Bulbasaur Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing, finished with frosting and a Bulbasaur piece
• Charmander Doughnut: Unglazed shell doughnut with chocolate and toasted marshmallow flavored filling, slathered in orange colored caramel icing and sparks of red and gold sugar, crowned with a Charmander piece
• Squirtle Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut filled with cotton candy flavored buttercreme, dipped in sanding sugar and nonpareils, and adorned with a surfing Squirtle piece
• Pikachu Doughnut: Unglazed shell filled with lemon-flavored Kreme filling dipped in vanilla icing, decorated with electrifying drizzle and nonpareils, and finished with a Pikachu piece
• Jigglypuff Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut filled with strawberry-flavored buttercreme, sprinkled with strawberry-flavored cookie, and crowned with a Jigglypuff piece
• Poké Ball Doughnut: Original Glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing and red sprinkles, filled with chocolate icing
