‘Texture is an incredibly important element when it comes to minimalism,’ Mike explains. ‘Matte finishes, smooth stone, brushed metals and wood surfaces can elevate the space without overwhelming it.’ The key, he says, is to choose a small selection of complementary materials rather than introducing too many competing finishes.
