BVP Forge backs Nevvon to scale caregiver training platform

  • The investment will help Nevvon expand its platform and deepen its work with payors and self-directed care programs across the US.
  • Alongside the investment, Nevvon launched TrainOnce, a tool that lets completed compliance training transfer with caregivers as they move between agencies.
  • Nevvon’s national caregiver network has grown more than 300% over the past five years, with a compliance and audit framework spanning all 50 states.

BVP Forge, the private equity arm of Bessemer Venture Partners focused on growth-oriented, self-sustaining technology and B2B services businesses, has made a strategic investment in Nevvon, a New York City-based compliance and training infrastructure behind the home care and self-directed care workforce. Nevvon’s management team will continue to lead the company, with its relationships with agencies, caregivers and channel partners unchanged.

The investment will support Nevvon’s expansion, deepen its work with payors and self-directed care programs, and extend its reach to more caregivers across the US as more of the workforce moves between agencies or into self-directed arrangements. Alongside the deal, Nevvon launched TrainOnce, a solution that allows completed compliance training to carry over across agencies, drawing on the network effects of its caregiver platform.

TrainOnce addresses a common industry problem: caregivers who move between agencies, or work for more than one, often must repeat training they have already completed, costing caregivers unpaid hours and delaying when they can begin seeing clients. The tool is built on Nevvon’s existing footprint, including deep concentration in geographies where caregivers frequently move between agencies and fiscal intermediaries, and integrations with the systems agencies already use to schedule, bill and stay audit-ready.

Navid Oreizy, partner at BVP Forge, said Nevvon has “an exceptional reputation as the most innovative and AI-forward compliance infrastructure for the homecare industry,” with a roadmap to extend its presence across the continuum of care.
