CVC-backed TMF Group has announced the acquisition of Navigator Partners, a Helsinki-based provider of fund and investor administration, corporate and foundation management services, according to an August 20 statement.
Navigator Partners offers a full range of services including fund administration, accounting and reporting, payroll services, property management administration, foundation administration and tax compliance services. The firm also runs Compass, its own proprietary portfolio reporting platform.
The acquisition gives TMF Group an immediate platform into Finland’s funds, family office and foundation administration market, while Navigator Partners gains access to TMF Group’s wider network of resources and expertise to serve local and Nordic clients. The deal also expands TMF Group’s Finnish service offering to include financial services for private wealth and family office, private equity, foundation, real estate and investment clients, building on the firm’s existing Nordic presence.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Helsinki, Navigator Partners has built a client base of more than 800 over its two-decade history, including private equity firms, family offices, asset managers, foundations and property owners. The firm employs 50 specialists.
TMF Group is backed by CVC Capital Partners, which acquired the business via CVC Fund VII in 2017.
