People Moves: $5.7B Prosperity Hires Tax Firm Executive President

Prosperity, a registered investment advisor owned by accounting and consultancy firm EisnerAmper Co., has replaced President Michelle Martin with an executive from tax and auditing firm Forvis Mazars.

Prosperity announced that Jeff Lenhart is taking over Martin’s role, where he will oversee “leadership, strategic direction and long-term growth of the firm’s wealth management business.” Martin will remain with the New York-based RIA as partner and senior wealth advisor. She helped grow the wealth arm of EisnerAmper from $1.2 billion to $5.7 billion since March 2023.

“Given the people, strong foundation, and technology in place, I’m thrilled to be charged with expanding on the success of Michele and her team,” Lenhart said in a statement.

Lenhart had been a partner at Forvis Mazars and Southeast regional leader of its national wealth management business.

LPL Hires Technology, Information Officer from Wells Fargo

LPL Financial has hired Jonathan Lewis as managing director and chief technology and information officer from competitor Wells Fargo.

In the new role, Lewis will lead technology architecture, engineering, infrastructure and development, while reporting to Greg Gates, who has been promoted to group managing director, chief product and technology officer.

Lewis was most recently head of digital and trading technology for Wells Fargo. Prior to Wells Fargo, he was head of asset management technology at J.P. Morgan. He will be based in New York for the San Diego-headquartered LPL.

“As the LPL Latitude technology experience becomes an even greater differentiator in the value we deliver to our clients, we’re enhancing our leadership team to drive innovation and execution at scale,” Gates said in a statement. “Jonathan’s deep expertise across engineering, infrastructure and technology transformation will help accelerate our innovation agenda while advancing our investments in AI and platform modernization.”

In the fourth quarter, LPL will be transitioning advisors from Commonwealth Financial Network to its wealth platform after acquiring the independent broker/dealer last year.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management Promotes Chris Peary to Chief Private Banking Officer

U.S. Bank has named Chris Peary chief private banking officer for wealth management, where he will oversee its private banking platform.

Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank promoted Peary from national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank.

He will now oversee its private bank for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, which works across banking, credit and wealth solutions.

“His experience across consumer banking, business banking and wealth management gives him a unique perspective into the needs of our clients and teams,” Scott Ford, president of wealth management at U.S. Bank, said in a statement.

Barings Appoints Brian Maute Head of U.S. Wealth

Barings, a $502 billion alternative asset manager based in Charlotte, N.C., has hired Brian Maute as head of U.S. wealth to lead wealth distribution strategy across registered investment advisors, broker/dealers, private banks, family offices and other wealth management platforms.

Maute joins Barings from Frankfurt, Germany-based asset manager DWS Group, where he was head of U.S. wealth and CEO of DWS Distributors.

He is now tasked with broadening advisor and investor access to Barings’ investment platform across credit, real assets, capital solutions and emerging markets.

“As demand for alternative investments continues to grow across the wealth channel, Brian’s leadership and deep understanding of the intermediary market will help accelerate our efforts to serve advisors and their clients,” Ilena Coyle, head of North America insurance and intermediary distribution, said in a statement.

Northern Trust Hires From Fiduciary Trust to Expand in New York

Northern Trust Wealth Management has grown its New York team by hiring senior lead relationship manager Gloria Fieldcamp and senior relationship manager James Le Rose.

The additions enhance Northern Trust’s delivery of integrated investment, fiduciary, banking and wealth planning capabilities in New York, where Fieldcamp and Le Rose join under the leadership of Katie Nixon, who was named Northeast region president in 2025.

Before joining Northern Trust, Fieldcamp spent 14 years at Fiduciary Trust International, where she was a managing director and senior wealth director. At Northern Trust, she will advise founders, entrepreneurs, business owners, executives and multigenerational and cross-border families on integrated wealth strategies.

Le Rose also spent 13 years at Fiduciary Trust International, where he was a managing director. He will develop wealth strategies for high-net-worth families, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, private banking and financial services.
