  • capSpire has grown its headcount by more than 30 percent, to around 400 consultants, since Falfurrias’ 2024 investment
  • FinTark is capSpire’s largest investment in its European business to date, the company said

Falfurrias-backed capSpire has acquired FinTark, a London-based commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) consultancy.

The deal adds specialist CTRM capabilities across European energy and global metals markets to capSpire’s technology consulting business, which serves the energy, commodities and capital markets sectors.

FinTark provides commodity and energy advisory and technology services to investment banks, utilities and commodity-intensive corporates.

The acquisition is capSpire’s second this year, following its purchase of Lucido in May 2026. Since receiving a growth investment from Falfurrias Management Partners in July 2024, capSpire has grown its headcount by more than 30 percent, from 300 to around 400 consultants across 20 countries. FinTark represents capSpire’s largest investment in its European business to date, adding to the firm’s consultant base, client roster and delivery presence across the region.

With FinTark’s clients joining the firm, capSpire becomes one of a small number of consultancies spanning both commodities and capital markets, the company said. FinTark’s metals trading technology expertise complements capSpire’s existing strength in energy and agricultural commodities.
