Danantara commits $1bn to Partners Group private credit strategy
Indonesian sovereign wealth fund Danantara has committed $1bn to Partners Group’s private credit platform, marking one of its biggest moves yet into global private markets, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The mandate comprises $600m earmarked for direct lending investments and a further $400m discretionary allocation that can be deployed by Partners Group alongside co-investment opportunities, according to people familiar with the matter.
Danantara confirmed that it had invested in Partners Group’s private credit business but did not disclose the size of the commitment.
Chief Investment Officer Pandu Sjahrir said the strategy would focus on direct lending opportunities across Asia, with Indonesia a particular priority.
