Aussie Tiny Houses Launches Coolum Model With Central Bathroom

The popular tiny house manufacturer Aussie Tiny Houses has launched a new Coolum 10×3 meter model with a luxurious interior designed to provide a real home-like living experience. The maker has cleverly put the layout to create a natural, intuitive flow that makes the “Coolum feel less like a tiny home and more like a properly considered house,” according to the maker.

The tiny house may not look interesting from the exterior, featuring a dark corrugated steel roof and wall cladding, but you would instantly be impressed with large sliding glass doors that maximize natural light and views. The flat roof carries the industrial-style theme and slopes gently to one side that would be helpful during rainy seasons.

Once inside, you would find a spacious living space next to the sliding glass door. The tiny house has a 2.9-meter dedicated lounge zone with plenty of natural light. Next, you reach the kitchen outfitted with a full-size fridge, pantry, electric oven, rangehood, and cooktop. The kitchen area shares space with a study nook overlooking a horizontal window, great for working from home.

The central bathroom is a core highlight of the tin Coolum tiny house. It works as both a bathroom and an ensuite, so you can access it from the living spaces and from the bedroom. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower, vanity, toilet, and space for a washing machine.

Located at the far end of the home for privacy, the bedroom fits a queen-size bed and full-wall built-in robes behind triple sliding mirror doors. The mirror finish on one side and a glass door on the other make the space feel larger.

The tiny house also includes a storage loft that runs the width of the home and is accessible via an in-situ ladder. It can be used for seasonal storage, luggage, or anything you want out of the way.

If you want single-level accessibility, a genuine work-from-home setup, and a layout that puts the living spaces front and center, the Coolum tiny house can be a great choice. Aussie Tiny Houses has three building stages: Lock-up, Shell, and Turn-Key model listed for Au$179,900 (about $129,200).
