FTV Capital makes growth investment in wealth platform Kingsview Partners
- The investment will fund advisor growth initiatives, technology upgrades and expanded product offerings
- Three FTV partners will join Kingsview’s board following the deal’s close
- Kingsview has grown assets under management past $10 billion with 97 percent average advisor retention
FTV Capital has made an undisclosed growth investment in Kingsview Partners, an integrated wealth management platform and national independent registered investment adviser, to support the firm’s next phase of expansion. The investment is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Kingsview supports financial advisors entering the independent RIA channel, offering technology, compliance, operations and marketing resources. Since its founding just over a decade ago, the firm has grown to more than $10 billion in assets under management, with an average annual growth rate exceeding 35 percent over the past three years and 97 percent average advisor retention over the same period.
“We have spent nearly three decades investing across wealth and asset management, and Kingsview’s track record of organic growth and advisor retention immediately signaled that the company was doing something different,” said Kyle Griswold, partner at FTV Capital. “We are excited to partner with the Kingsview team to continue investing behind this strategy and preserve what makes the company a unique player in the rapidly growing independent RIA market.”
The deal was led by Griswold, Vostrizansky and Brandon Spierto from FTV, all three of whom will join Kingsview’s board following the close. Kingsview will also gain access to FTV’s Global Partner Network and FTV Propel, the firm’s in-house team of operating executives, to support execution across product, go-to-market and organizational scaling.
Kingsview’s management team will continue to lead the firm and retain significant ownership. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial advisor and McDonald Hopkins as legal counsel to Kingsview, while Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal counsel to FTV.
