Your Credit Cards May Cover Streaming Subscriptions

Many travel credit cards now offer streaming or digital entertainment services as a benefit to customers. According to a 2025 Pew Research Center survey, 83% of U.S. adults said they stream entertainment, making credit card streaming perks a useful benefit to save on — or completely cover — streaming subscription costs.

But with so many cards on the market, it’s not always easy finding one that offers a benefit for your favorite streaming provider. In this quick list, we’ve done the heavy lifting for you by identifying the credit cards that offer streaming services and the terms for each.

But there’s also a way to use the American Express Platinum Card® to get an additional streaming service. The card offers monthly statement credits of up to $12.95 plus taxes for a Walmart+ membership — which includes your choice of a Paramount+ or Peacock streaming subscription. Enrollment required. That means cardholders could get access to one of these additional streaming services without dipping into the $300 annual digital entertainment credit. Terms apply.

The Bank of America® Premium Rewards Elite credit card also offers a benefit that covers a broad range of streaming services. As part of the $550 annual fee, it offers up to $150 in statement credit per calendar year toward lifestyle transactions, including rideshare, food delivery, video streaming services and fitness. The streaming service’s merchant code would have to match with one of the qualifying merchant codes to trigger the credit.

“A lot of people assume travel card perks are only valuable for people who are out on the road most of the time, but lifestyle credits such as these make it possible to extract year-round value from premium credit cards,” says Sally French, a travel and credit cards expert at NerdWallet.

The Disney® Inspire Visa® Card (annual fee: $149) offers a $10 statement credit each month after spending $10 or more on qualifying subscriptions directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or Stream.ESPN.com. That’s a value of up to $120 per year, which can offset most of the annual fee of this premium Disney credit card. (Annual activation is required.)

In addition, this card earns 10% back in Disney Rewards Dollars on purchases with the three Disney-owned streaming services, so not only will cardholders get reimbursed for the subscription, but they’ll also earn some rewards that they can redeem for theme park tickets, resort stays, cruise line packages, Disney Store purchases and more.

Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express cardmembers receive up to $7 monthly in statement credit (up to an $84 annual value).

Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express cardmembers can get up to $10 per month in statement credit toward their Disney digital entertainment (up to a $120 annual value). Terms apply.

Keep in mind. Neither of these cards will cover the cost of a streaming service subscription completely. The cheapest monthly subscription to Disney+ or Hulu, for example, costs $11.99 — and that’s with ads.
