At times like these, we may want a busy mind to feel less overwhelmed. But that’s not all we need from our minds at home. There are moments when we need to concentrate on something that deserves our full attention, work through a difficult decision, or give an idea enough space to develop. At other times, what we need is something mentally invigorating, giving the mind a lift when we’re feeling mentally sluggish.
