Arcline-backed Arxis completes acquisitions of Schatz Bearing, StratEdge in aerospace deals

Arcline Investment Management-backed Arxis has completed the acquisitions of Schatz Bearing Corporation and StratEdge Corporation, for undisclosed terms.
Arxis closed the Schatz acquisition on September 2, 2026 and the StratEdge acquisition on September 1, 2026.
Schatz Bearing Corporation, based in Poughkeepsie, New York, designs and manufactures specialized bearings used in commercial aerospace, defense systems and space applications requiring precise movement in compact spaces under demanding operating conditions. The company will operate within Arxis’s mechanical components segment.
StratEdge Corporation, based in Poway, California, designs and manufactures hermetic, high-frequency and high-power ceramic packages primarily for mission-critical defense and space applications, and will join Arxis’s electronic components segment. On a combined basis, the two companies are expected to generate more than $40 million in revenue for fiscal year 2027.
