SwitchBot Launches Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro & AI MindClip at IFA

SwitchBot needs no introduction in the smart home automation space and embodied AI products. The company has proved its finesse once again with the launch of two exemplary products, namely SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo and AI MindClip, at IFA 2026.

SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro is available to pre-order now through SwitchBot’s official EU and UK websites at $339.99. While AI MindClip can be purchased from the company’s website for $99.99 ($20 off) now, the original price is $119.99.

Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo

SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo is an innovative, retrofit smart-entry solution that brings together the newly launched SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max, SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro, and Matter-Enabled SwitchBot Hub Mini. The combo is designed not to require changing the existing lock cylinder but to upgrade the door access experience with faster lock performance.

Built specially for European homes, it provides up to 19 ways to unlock the door, comes with layered power backup, local biometric protection, Matter connectivity, and real-time status awareness. It provides users or family members with a flexible entry system that is built for everyday situations and connected home platforms.

In Max Mode, unlocking can be achieved in just 1.1 seconds, which means you need not stay waiting at the door for long. Also, there is a Quiet Mode for discreet unlocking for times when you don’t want to disturb your family members or flatmates. The performance of this lock combo is complemented by the premium industrial design.

As mentioned earlier, this lock provides 19 ways to unlock, which include 3D facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, contactless palm vein recognition, passcodes, and more. Lock Ultra Max also uses the Triple Power System for worry-free everyday access, which basically means that the door remains accessible even in unexpected low-battery situations. It also ensures security, privacy, and awareness at the door. Users can easily check or review the lock status, battery levels, door status, and event history in the SwitchBot App.

The Lock Ultra Max is made for European doors and connected homes. It supports common EU profile cylinders, knob cylinders, Swiss round cylinders, and UK oval cylinders. The lock can be mounted inside the door while keeping the existing cylinder, and Keypad Vision Pro can be installed outside with the help of screws or adhesive, removing any requirement for drilling or permanent changes.

AI MindClip

The second highlight from SwitchBot for the biggest tech event of the year is the AI MindClip. It is a lightweight clip-on wearable AI assistant that is powered by Qwen. Designed for everyday use, the SwitchBot AI MindClip converts conversations, ideas, promises, and to-dos into reminders, summaries, searchable memories, and next actions.

In this way, this wearable tech is made to not just capture what easily slips away from our minds, but also things that actually matter. It becomes like your perfect assistant who saves you from forgetting the crucial details, especially when they matter.

Weighing only 16.8g, SwitchBot AI MindClip can be attached to a collar, shirt, or even a bag strap, making it less intrusive and something that you can wear without attaching it to the body.

It extends 20 hours of continuous recording with 64GB of local storage. In this manner, it is perfect for long workdays, when you are with your loved ones, or even enjoying everyday scenarios. Interestingly, AI MindClip supports speaker recognition, speaker separation, and voiceprint recognition, which helps in identifying multi-person conversations so as to review them clearly later.

The captured memories are then turned into timely reminders by drawing on AI capabilities from Gemini, ChatGPT, and other SOTA large language models. When charging, the AI MindClip is able to automatically transfer recordings and sort them into structured notes, summaries, key points, and transcripts.

Users can even upload recordings after a conversation in order to extract tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines from it. You also get a dedicated app and website for this device that lets you do a lot many things at once. Users can also ask questions of the AI using natural language to find details that they require from the past recordings. For those who are dependent on AI assistants to plan or manage their tasks, the AI MindClip helps connect spoken context to the tools that they already use. It is also powered by Qwen for an enhanced experience, and private memories can be kept securely, ensuring users’ peace of mind.
