Launched at IFA 2026, this is the world’s first and only portable coffee maker with a built-in 27,000 mAh battery bank.  

Designed to go where your coffee needs take you, the espresso maker, with its hefty 27,000 mAh battery, doubles as a power bank. Considering the kind of battery power you are getting with it, the weight of the coffee maker can be a concern for some. But if you value convenience over anything else, there is no way you’re leaving the house without your personal Barista. 

When I’m out in the wild camping, I need a coffee, and I need power to keep my devices running. My compact coffee machine delivers delicious brew whenever I need it, but for backup power, I need a power bank along. That is two separate devices to carry. With the essoetto now, your espresso maker is your power bank – count one thing out of the backpack.

As the only portable espresso maker with a 27,000mAh power bank onboard, essoetto CM-01 Pro doesn’t trade off flavorful coffee at any point. The battery powers the coffee maker to produce 20 bars of pressure (20-bar professional extraction is the same pressure as a standard commercial espresso machine), delivering rich crema and flavorful espresso every time.  

Since it runs on battery, it doesn’t need an outlet, and being a very handy freestanding device, you don’t need a countertop. Place it on a flat surface, and you’re good to brew. Operating it is simple and instant. You rotate the brew head 180°, insert coffee, pour water, set the temperature (from its integrated touch panel), and hit go. And you have a 40ml single or 80ml double shot in a jiffy.

The battery has enough power to brew up to 16 rich espressos on a single charge using cold water, and still have juice left to charge your laptop or a smartphone multiple times. The essoetto coffee maker, with all the power, can brew a proper shot of espresso in under two minutes. You get the coffee of your liking anywhere at the work desk, airport, or out camping and charge phones, tablets, or laptops alongside.

Powering the coffee maker back up takes 6 to 7 hours using a standard USB-C cable. Interestingly, the completely cordless essoetto CM-01 Pro coffee maker is compatible with both Nespresso capsules and fresh ground coffee right out of the box. For Nespresso Vertuo compatibility, you will require an additional essoetto adapter, sold separately.
